I graduated from ISU in 2006. I started teaching at Monroe in 2007. Throughout my eleven years of teaching, I have taught reading and language arts to 5th-8th graders. This year I teach 6th grade reading and language arts, 6th grade technology, and 6th grade science. I earned my master's degree from Walden University in 2010.
My family and I live in Monroe School District. I went to junior high at Monroe, and now my own children will be a part of the wonderful Monroe family. Our youngest son, Kaleb, is in first grade, and our oldest son, Jaron, is in third grade. Our yorkie-poo, Luna, is just around 4.5 pounds! SO TINY!
I currently coach scholastic bowl. We enjoy cheering on MONROE!
Over my summer vacation I also was able to visit my family from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Chicago for my cousin's wedding in Ohio. My husband joined me for a conference in Indiana and two Cardinal's games in St. Louis! We also joined 15 of my family members in Gulf Shores, Alabama last week! The baseball team that my husband coaches and boys play on went undefeated this year and won the championship! It was a VERY busy summer!
